First Ever Fly for Fun Day
Sunday, March 20, Hiller Aviation hosted the first of what will be scores of STEM education days across the country. The Fly for Fun Days are rich in aerodynamics and teach skills for successfully competing The National Paper Airplane Contest. A capacity room learned about wing loading, control surfaces, Follow Foil flying, made Tumbling Wings, flew Tumbling Wings and Seagulls. it was great to finally see my hard work being used in real time. The museum staff did a great job presenting, and I was free to shoot a little video that can be found below.
